Every end is a new beginning.
Mushers develop a special bond with their dogs after spending
so much time together on the trail.
The dogs are like family. And you miss them when they are gone.
24.01.09 Kira died.
After 6 month of figth against heart-/lung-cancer, Kira
died in the morning in my arms. We saw it coming, but
again it's only sadness in our hearts.
31.12.07 Enouka died.
The rainbow-bridge opened for beloved Enouka.
She died in my arms after her very long fight against
the cancer. It was forseeable but It's always sadly.
16.02.07 Choice died.
My beloved and toughest leader died after the lost fight
against bone-cancer. Again cancer was stronger.
But WHY always the best ones ??????
09.04.06 Olive died.
My first real leader is gone. After 16 years full of life she
moved smoozely to Benny and Narvik.
12.02.06 Narvik died.
The life changed in only two days. Narvik, Bennys
oldest son, my big brown bear, died unexpected after a
stomach twist.
24.02.04 Benny died.
My first dog went away.
